When I first started coaching and facilitating, I put these two words together to represent potential, the the radiant and sublime along with the demanding and tight. Growth isn’t comfortable. And struggle is part of growth. Struggle is necessary to enter “flow state”, to get “in the zone”.
Let’s challenge current culture”s assumption that somehow struggle and discomfort are negative, when really they are simply part of life. The struggle, the discomfort, may be asking for attention saying, look here, there’s something wanting to happen, there’s a potential vibrating, wanting to shift. It’s when we deny or resist our struggles that we actually stunt our growth. And sometimes we plain get stuck. Transformation and evolution aren’t all or always struggle. If you acknowledge them and work with them, you’ll learn they really on your side. They are integral to where you’re heading. Keep going, you’re actually doing it right.
